MachinePoint says it has successfully completed a “perfect Plast 2018” full of visitors and potential business.
This year, for the first time in the Fiera Milano exhibition grounds five events have been held at the same time: Plast2018, Ipack-Ima, Meat-Tech, Print4All and Intralogistics. They have been accessible with a single ticket and without barriers between the different areas. This has resulted in a great influx of visitors. We demonstrated our pioneering role in the context of professional surplus machinery management for both sellers and buyers.”
Speaking at Plast, Marco Marchiorello, Film Sales Manager for Italy, said: “At Plast 2018 we presented our range of products and services to over 500 clients from different countries. We have felt the market is very active with processors foreseeing continued strong investment for the forthcoming months. Used machinery is very interesting to them as there is no waiting time to obtain the machine in most cases.”
At Plast in Milan, MachinePoint had a stand in Hall 13. We have been attending this fair over and over again present at every edition as Italy is one of the main markets for buying high quality used machines. The Italian industrial structure as well as the investment in technology by medium to large companies makes it a key market for MachinePoint.

High quality services and an outstanding record of closing reputable deals for both the benefit of companies that need their surplus equipment managed and companies investing in high quality used equipment to start new operations.
MachinePoint is nowadays the chosen company for main reputable OEMs to help them relocate used machines from their clients. Also big corporations rely on MachinePoint to help them sell their used equipment. A team of 10 sales people attended highly motivated entrepreneurs and executives during Plast that look to purchase used machinery in the coming months.
Italy is a main market for MachinePoint, as it has been doing business in this country for nearly 20 years. However Plast attracted a lot of visitors from Eastern Europe, Middle East and North Africa, all new selling markets for MachinePoint. Some of these countries are experiencing heavy investment in the plastics and beverage industries, and used machinery is a very attractive option for them.
